CySight Time Zone settings

There are various areas/settings to control time zones.
CySight Server Configuration
As a default, you should set your CySight time zone to the most relevant for your business and the context of the collection.
Per User Time Zone
You can set the time zone per user. This is useful when flow data needs to be analyzed by professionals who are based in different time zones.
Linux Server
The Linux server has its time zone set by default to UTC. We recommend retaining UTC as the time zone doesn’t shift forward or backward on daylight savings which means the flow data is retained contiguously which can be helpful for forensics as it will not create a duplicate hour nor lose an hour.
